Jim began work on his studio several years ago, but continued in his day-to-day radio position "I was contracting Zeus as the imaging talent for my station. I'd sent him some copy and called him, I left a voice-mail. I missed his call back, but he left a message… 'Hey it's Zeus….' He said in that God like voice. 'I'm on the golf course, any chance I can cut this later today or in the morning?' It was a Wednesday! Right then and there I decided it was time to make my move. I'm no Zeus, but I can do this and it's time to get started."

Jim resigned his Operations Manager / Program Director / on air position not long ago. He resides in New Mexico, "I'm living my dream. As a kid, all I ever wanted to do was be on the radio. I was making little radio shows on a cassette recorder in the basement. As an adult… a radio professional, all I ever wanted was to be a voice talent."

Since Jim launched as a voice talent, he has even found his way into some international projects. "I can speak a little Spanish and I have been asked to record in Spanish. I thought I did pretty good… I can roll my R's! As far as the Japanese imaging, that was a really fun project. The client would send an MP3 of the phrase he wanted, I'd listen to it and then I'd do my best to imitate and record it. It was a challenging project for both of us due to the language barrier but in the end he was very pleased and it turned out good!"
